The P.G.Library of
Andhra Loyola College caters to the information needs of 450 students and
46 staff members of the college with a collection of 15311 judiciously selected
books and 77 National and International Journals and magazines. It has a
good collection of CD’s and DVDs.
Dewey Decimal Classification system is followed for the arrangement of books. The entire library
collection is computerized and the computerized catalogue is made
available for staff and students (OPAC) in the intranet. Barcode
technology is implemented since 2013 in the circulation counter.
The Open Access system which we
are following in our library facilitate for quick and better usage of the Library.
Staff and Students can access to more than 2000
e-journals and 5000 e-books under the programme of INFLIBNET &
through Calibre Digital world. Reprographic facility is also available
inside the library.
Our library is the registered member of
National Digital Library.
